Viewpoint Dual Recovery Policy Update
The well-being and safety of our clients, their families, and our staff are always our top priority at Viewpoint Dual Recovery Center.
Viewpoint Dual Recovery will continue to serve our recovery community during this time. In conjunction with our existing infection control policies, we are closely monitoring CDC updates on the impact of the coronavirus as they are released. Our staff has been trained in infection prevention and control.
For more information, we encourage you to please take some time to read the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines on the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are continuing to accept clients into our programs at this time.
Treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders focused on psychotherapy and other traditional support services. Viewpoint Dual Recovery Center believes in expanding the scope of treatment to help our clients. We offer a holistic treatment program that allows everyone to explore different aspects of getting well. That gives us the chance to fully assess each person under our care and make sure they receive proper treatment for all their issues.
Viewpoint Dual Recovery Center takes a diverse approach when it comes to mapping out treatment plans for clients. Our holistic treatment program chance to participate in traditional clinical therapies alongside alternative therapies that focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit. Combining different approaches in our holistic treatment program offers a more natural way to help people work through issues related to alcohol, drugs, and mental health issues.
Years of substance abuse often takes a significant physical and emotional toll on the body. We specialize in treating those with dual diagnosis, which means that a mental illness drives them to use drugs and alcohol. They may also suffer from issues related to their heart, liver, and kidneys that could impact their long-term physical health. Our holistic treatment program allows us to help in the following ways:
Viewpoint Dual Recovery Center offers clients the opportunity to participate in the different alternative therapies as part of their holistic treatment program, including:
Yoga is a mindfulness activity that shows clients how to modulate their breathing. It also involves meditating while changing body positions to help with spiritual, mental, and physical health. It helps relieves stress built up in the brain and body.
Equine therapy teaches clients how to be responsible for someone other than themselves. They assume tasks like feeding horses, caring for their stalls, and taking them out for walks. It allows them to get outside of their problems and reinforces empathy for other living things.
Art therapy encourages clients to use techniques like painting and drawing to express themselves. It teaches them ways of managing their behavior and resolving any inner conflicts.
The staff at Viewpoint Dual Recovery Center has a combined 40 years of experience helping clients overcome problems tied to addiction issues and mental illness. They continue pursuing educational opportunities to expand the scope of treatments available to our clients through our holistic treatment program.
Our facility takes a phased approach to treating clients. The clinical programs combine education, evidence-based therapies, and mindfulness in helping clients achieve self-awareness. They learn to understand their inner strengths, how to recognize triggers, and ways of coping with life after leaving our holistic treatment program.
Clients get the opportunity to take part in family programs, workshops, and therapeutic sessions. We also provide access to daily recovery meeting programs to help connect clients with others who understand their path. It’s a great way to start building a lifetime support system.
